This policy applies to the CitizenCH mobile app and this website. CitizenCH is published by TODO: insert individual developer's legal name (the "developer").

Current data handling

CitizenCH is still in development and is not yet available in an app store. This website does not use advertising technology, Google Ads, or Google AdMob.

The planned app is intended to offer core study functionality without requiring an account. If learning progress, favourites, or answer history are stored in the first release, the exact storage location and retention details will be confirmed here before launch.

Website hosting

This website is hosted through GitHub Pages. The developer does not use the site to collect contact forms, analytics, or advertising identifiers. However, GitHub may process technical information when it delivers the site, such as IP address, device and browser information, request time, pages viewed, and referring site, under its own privacy statement.

Planned Firebase use

The developer may use Firebase services provided by Google in a future version of the app. Firebase is not currently in use for CitizenCH.

Before any Firebase service is enabled, this policy and the relevant App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures will be updated to identify the service, the categories of data it processes, why it is used, and applicable retention information.

No advertising

CitizenCH does not use Google Ads, Google AdMob, or other advertising networks. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before ads are introduced.

Third-party services and app stores

When CitizenCH becomes available through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms may process information under their own privacy policies. Their processing is separate from this website and the app's own functionality.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated as the app is developed and before new data-processing features are released. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version.
